Why shiver baby? ,
The shakes don't suit you well,
I'm on fire lately,
Why contort yourself,
When you could get licks off of me? ,
Why so sullen baby? ,
Your face might freeze like that,
I've got heaven waiting,
Why keep holding back,
When you could get bliss off of me? ,
Your luck runs here,
Where are you going? ,
It's so clear,
Still you don't know it.
Who needs gurus baby?
Who needs hubbard? ,
I've got lessons waiting,
They just don't cover,
Why don't you get wise off of me,
Your luck runs here,
Where are you going? ,
It's so clear,
But still you don't know it.
Stuff those mushrooms baby,
Lose that hookah,
I pack a wallop,
And I'm no palooka,
Why don't you get hits...,
Why don't you get rich...,
Why don't you get bliss...,
Off of me

After years of listening to this album I finally decided to write this, I keep coming back to this album time and time again, it's just that good, the guitars, the bass, the hypnotic vocals and just the overall melody makes me dream and transport me to another world in seconds, this album is just one magnificent piece of art filled with so much feelings and dept to it, I just can't get enough azurezeed
Fantastic album. Very reminiscent of 90s slowcore with an even more beautiful and dark edge. It's hard to find music like this nowadays but I'm very pleased to have found it. Jesse Mullen
This was gold! Stumbling upon older material is always a blessing, and I’m blown away every time I hear something I have yet to hear from Chelsea. I’m not super knee-deep into Rudimentary Peni’s material to really pick up on all the elements, but as a fan of Chelsea’s blood, this is no exception to anything my ears have traveled through on her other projects. ‘Black on Gold’ in particular, is a track that I’ll have on loop for a while, the build up is just so intense and massive, I love it! 🩶 Casey_Keaton
